Big Day with Peter Schrager is a weekday studio show on ESPN, hosted from New York City, covering the day's biggest sports stories through reporting, interviews, and informal conversation.
The brief called for an identity that captures Peter's enthusiasm, optimism, and deep love of sports, while reflecting the authenticity of his Brooklyn roots. It needed to feel relatable, honest, and approachable rather than overly polished or theatrical. Above all, it needed to feel like good, clean fun: grounded, genuine, and unmistakably Peter.

Every New York block has one: a bodega window where a Yankees pennant leans against pretzels, a scratcher ticket, and a sleeping cat - cluttered, unplanned, and somehow perfectly coherent. Big Day’s brand identity borrows that shelf: a grid of objects every sports fan has, notebooks, pennants, jerseys alongside sport shots and New York scenics, announcing the show’s territory in five seconds - New York, and every sport, side by side.
